These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Saqer KSA Maps mobile application and related website (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Saqer KSA Maps provides map viewing, place search, local notes and photos stored on your device, and routing guidance for selected cities in Saudi Arabia. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License to use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and any applicable app store rules.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the Service only in a lawful and safe manner
- Do not rely solely on the Service for emergency situations
- Obey traffic laws and local regulations; navigation is guidance only
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or misuse the Service or its underlying map data
- Do not upload or store unlawful, harmful, or infringing content in notes or photos
5. Maps, routes, and accuracy
Map data, place results, traffic information, and routes may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Road conditions, closures, and events change quickly. Always use your own judgment and follow posted signs and official guidance. The Service is not a substitute for professional navigation systems where those are required.
6. Third-party services
The Service may use third-party providers (including mapping and routing platforms). Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Map and place data may be owned by third parties and licensed for use within the Service. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
8. User content
Notes and photos you create remain yours. You are responsible for that content and for keeping appropriate backups. We do not claim ownership of on-device notes or photos stored locally by the current Service.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, partners, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50), if no purchase was made.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or discontinue the Service or your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to do so for legal, security, or operational reasons.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply.
